Moona Hoshinova: music, AREA15 and a growing album catalogue
Moona Hoshinova is a VTuber in hololive production and its Indonesian first generation, AREA15, alongside Ayunda Risu and Airani Iofifteen. Her recorded music offers several ways into her career: the compact ORBITURE collection, the longer PANDORA album and a collaboration with Nerissa Ravencroft.
Her official profile dates her debut to 11 April 2020. It credits character illustrator Nyori, lists 15 February as her birthday and calls her fans Moonafic. The moon imagery and the alternate Hoshinova persona are part of her character presentation. The model-and-idol student backstory describes that fictional character, rather than the performer's private biography.
ORBITURE: a short route through the early songs
ORBITURE, released on 6 January 2024, brings five recordings together: remastered versions of Ai no Chiisana Uta and High Tide, followed by Perisai Jitu, Who's Toxic? It's You! and Taut Hati. It is a useful listening route for someone who recognizes a song title but has not followed individual releases.
The version labels matter. The catalogue explicitly identifies the first two tracks as remasters; the collection's 2024 date should not be treated as the first appearance of every underlying song. Starting with this release also gives a listener a manageable set to revisit before moving to the larger album.
PANDORA and the Nerissa collaboration
The official catalogue dates PANDORA to 12 April 2025 and lists ten tracks. Alongside familiar titles such as High Tide, Perisai Jitu and Taut Hati, it includes Lasting Freedom, Distortion, Charade and Nightmare. The overlap with ORBITURE lets a newcomer follow the catalogue without assuming that each album represents an entirely separate set of songs.
One particularly useful connection is 100% (feat. Nerissa Ravencroft), released as a single on 16 February 2025 and subsequently included on PANDORA. Its credited guest links Moona's discography to a member of hololive English -Advent-. Readers arriving through Nerissa can therefore begin with an actual shared recording, then explore Moona's solo releases and Nerissa's own work.
The catalogue continued beyond those albums: Night Train to Nowhere has a listed release date of 14 September 2026. It gives returning listeners a later point of comparison without replacing the earlier catalogue with a list of recent streams.
From the first-generation 3D relay to viv:ID CRUISE
The September 2022 first-generation announcement scheduled Moona's individual 3D showcase for 16 September, ahead of Iofi and Risu, with a group stream on 20 September. These dates concern a 3D presentation, distinct from her 2020 channel debut.
The 2023 viv:ID CRUISE announcement named Moona, Risu, Pavolia Reine and Kobo Kanaeru for a VRChat-presented 3D concert tour across conventions in Jakarta, Singapore and Kuala Lumpur. That lineup crosses Indonesian generations: Moona and Kobo are colleagues in the same branch, rather than members of the same debut unit. The announcement provides the historical programme; its convention date ranges are not individual song performance dates.

What to listen to and where to go next
Choose ORBITURE for a concise introduction, PANDORA for a longer session, or 100% for the bridge to Nerissa. Moona's official profile also recommends her FIRE BIRD cover; comparing a cover with the album catalogue separates interpretation of another song from original releases. Her own description of building-game and singing streams offers a second route for viewers more interested in long-form broadcasts.
Continue through the AREA15 reading section for Risu's vocal releases and Iofi's drawing projects. The three careers share an origin, but their works give each a distinct starting point.
