The stream archive, linked from her main channel's videos, describes a Luna moth and eldritch-being theme. That combination provides a more useful starting point than treating her as a generic animal-themed avatar: the character's moth motif coexists with a deliberately strange fictional setting.
The moth character and the Lune setting
The description of the May 2022 model presentation introduces Project Actias, who names herself Juniper, as a creation of the fictional Lune Genetic Research Facility. It presents the audience as visitors looking through containment glass. This is character lore and theatrical framing, not an account of the performer's real biography or a real research institution.
That framing also explains why a model reveal can be part of the entertainment rather than a purely technical announcement. A redesign can be introduced through the character's story. Does she make her own models?
Her official video descriptions explicitly credit her with making her models and designs from scratch.
